photo 1 I’m always looking for new sensory activities for the boys, particularly enjoy things I can make easily at home – partly because I’m cheap, but also because I like to know what my youngest might potentially be eating.  I found this recipe for Snow Slime (or, Snow “Goo” as it has been dubbed in our house) on Pinterest and was thrilled to see how easy it was to make with things I already owned.  It only took a few minutes to put together and my oldest LOVES. IT.  He plays contentedly with it regularly for long stretches of time (a true miracle).   Perfect for these cool winter days!photo 2

Ingredients

– 2 cups White School Glue (16 oz)

– 3/4 teaspoon Borax

– Very warm water

Optional: Glitter (to make it sparkle) or Peppermint Extract (to make it smell delicious)

To Make

– Combine the white school glue, 1 1/2 cups of very warm water (and the glitter or extract) in a small bowl.

– In a second bowl, combine the 3/4 teaspoon Borax with 1 1/3 cups of very warm water.

– Combine the two bowls, using your hands to mix together.

That’s it!  Keep it in a zip lock or tightly sealed container in the fridge to make it extra chilly.  So simple and so fun.  Enjoy!
