MSMGreat news for all of you mamas out there looking to save a little money – consignment shopping has just gotten easier, thanks to a new app developed by local Charlotte moms.  The Mom To Mom Consign App is an interactive marketplace for people to buy or sell new or gently used kids toys, clothes, shoes and more.  With a basic key word search you’re able to quickly browse listings, easily send comments or questions to a seller (privately or publicly), and buy with a push of a button.

This app is also great if you have stuff you’re trying to sell yourself (who doesn’t have six million piles of barely-worn baby clothes lying around?) – all you have to do is take a picture and write up a description, all right in the app.  There is no fee to list items, and just like in a physical consignment store, you keep a portion of what you sell (85%).  The only option to pay is through PayPal right now, which can be a bit of a drawback for some people, but overall it’s a great place to try and snag some sweet deals!

Consignment season is wrapping up here, but there’s the Assurance United Methodist Church St. Nick’s Sack Toy Sale happening on November 22nd and 23rd at the Northlake campus.  Featuring toys of all kinds it’s a great place to pick up some Christmas goodies (or sell some of the toys you have that no one plays with anymore!)
