fall frolicFinally! It is starting to feel like fall outside…sort of! So, pull out those jackets, grab a pumpkin spice latte and head over to the Fall Frolic at the Ann Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, SC. The festivities run every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of October. Admission for kids 4 and under is free and is $12 for everyone else. Entry includes a corn maze, wagon ride, hay maze, popcorn display, petting zoo area, peddle car track and of course, a pumpkin patch (the pumpkin is included in the price of admission). I recently took my daughter, Hannah (age 2) to the Fall Frolic. She was in heaven! When we walked up to the corn maze, we were greeted by a happy and friendly staff. Hannah even bravely touched a snake and a turtle! The maze was the perfect size and even though we took a couple of wrong turns, we were not stuck for too long. After the maze, Hannah loved learning about popcorn and eating a popcorn snack. But, by far, her favorite activity was the wagon ride. The tractor took us to a pumpkin patch where Hannah picked out two pumpkins; one for herself and one for her brother James. We spent a total of three hours at the Fall Frolic and Hannah was entertained and happy the entire time. It was the perfect fall outing and a memorable mother / daughter outing.
